Pick up or delivery

Updated: Jun 4

The start of a disaster is thinking that you can safely deliver a 4-tier cake to your venue. I would strongly advise that if you have a large cake pay the extra fee to have it delivered and set up at your venue. Ask your cake designer if they have experience in cake delivery. Do they bring supplies in case there is an accident, and they can repair on site. If they say yes to all the questions that use them for delivery. Nothing worse than taking the cake only to have it fall over and no one to repair it. The delivery fee is to block that time just to take the cake to your venue and set it up that is time only for your cake. So, it's worth paying the fee in the long run. I myself have over 10 years' experience in cake delivery and have traveled over 1 1/2 hour to take a cake to a venue on dirt, bumpy roads.
